FAQ's

Send us questions and we'll add them to our FAQ page...

Q

Do we accept insurance?

A

We do not, but we will give you all the information to go to your insurance company and attempt to get reimbursement.

Q

How much does our program cost?

A

This is an ever evolving problem in medicine.  Insurance companies are more and more trying to eliminate male hormone replacement therapy reimbursement.  This is why we charge a $200 a month membership fee.  Your insurance can then possibly pick up labs we order, treatments we prescribe and help out in other ways.  Many places force their testosterone patients to come in once a week and charge well over $100 a week to be "treated" that way.  Our program works out to around $50 a week.  You'll find that between our medical and pharmacy knowledge, we'll help you save money in the long term.

Q

How often are you required to be seen as a patient with us?

A

We require an every three month sit down visit for all of our patients.  We may keep in touch weekly by phone if necessary.  We've found that most guys, especially once they've found the right treatment dosing and frequency, want to be left alone to live their lives.  We will always be available for consultation along the way.

Q

What are the side effects of treatment?

A

Side effects of male hormone treatment revolve around the main hormone involved, testosterone.  We'll have a long talk before starting therapy about the worries of testosterone replacement when we have our first visit.  Testosterone can raise blood count levels, raise estrogen levels, cause prostate enlargement, and many other problems that need to be looked out for.  We will take your health in great consideration and make sure we limit the chances of side effects, and if side effects do occur they'll be dealt with quickly and effectively.
